Based on Sebastian Brandt's "Ship of Fools" , a political opera spectacle about reason unfolds in co-production with the Schloßplatztheater Köpenick and The Metafiction Cabaret.

How do we shape the world we live in? What influences us? And how do we find solutions in this time that often seems overwhelming?

With verve and humor, Marc C. Behrens devotes himself to the text and transports Brandt's anecdotes from the 15th century into the present.

The Metafiction Cabaret's sound world, which is characterized by circus, genre changes and theatricality, meets Jonathan Boudevin's arrangements with elements of new music, jazz and choral singing.

What can be expected is a furious and entertaining evening about the present, which raises questions, takes outdated patterns and empty phrases to the point of absurdity and leaves the audience cheerful, comforted and shaken up.
