"People love it. They call it introspection. The irrepressible urge to explore themselves, to dig deep into the self to find something there that they don't even know exactly what it is, except that it must be the solution to all their problems. They assume the ultimate truth is there, in their own self of all places. They can sit for hours and ponder and 'go within'. But they don't actually go anywhere." (Elephant)

"E: I HATE functional clothing. N: I LOVE functional clothing. It is an expression of that

fascinating adaptability of humans, thanks to which they can cope in almost any habitat. E: It is the ridiculous attempt to resist a hostile environment with childish defiance,

in which one does not belong at all, and this under total aesthetic failure." (Elephant & Rhinoceros)

NEW MUSICAL THEATRE ON CLIMATE CHANGE

"Humans are my personal favorite animal. Homo sapiens are quite simply the most adaptable, ingenious, innovative, intelligent, complex, highly evolved - the overall best animal on the planet. A species that has freed itself from the constraints of nature, that has shaped the world according to its ideas, that has unlocked the secrets of the universe, that has produced the most amazing inventions, that breeds artificial organisms and sends rockets to the moon and builds robots, some of which are already more intelligent than themselves. How can you not want to have such a fascinating species on board?"

The BIG 5 wild animals - elephant, rhino, leopard, lion and buffalo - have good reasons to be afraid of humans. Could a personality test popular with humans, also known as the BIG 5, help animals to better understand the characteristics of the human species? What is it about humans' imagination, their urge for self-exploration, their excess weight and their functional clothing?

A humorous and entertaining play with new music. A production by the Schloßplatztheater Köpenick, with the participation of The Metafiction Cabaret.

"N: People, for example, can CHOOSE whether they want to go hunting or not. They are not bound to a certain behavior, they are free in their decisions. They don't HAVE to eat something just because it tastes good. L: And why do they get fat then?" (Rhinoceros & Lion)
